Brooke Cartus is a comedian, emcee, activist and attorney based in Columbus, Ohio. Her sardonic storytelling and improvisational style has helped her land shows with Colin Quinn, Fortune Feimster, Erin Foley, Ian Harvie, Rhea Butcher and Dana Goldberg. She has performed at TedXColumbusWomen and has been featured in the Limestone Comedy Festival, Arch City Comedy Festival, Whiskey Bear Comedy Festival, and Out of Bounds Comedy Festival in 2017. Her blog Size L for Lady has been featured on Huff Post: Gay Voices. Her second album drops in Winter 2018.
Brooke has emceed benefits for the Human Rights Campaign, the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, Planned Parenthood, The You Will Rise Project, Stonewall Columbus, and many more non-profit organizations. She has interviewed NFLers Chris Kluwe and Wade Davis in front of an audience, and also co-hosts a podcast called Dykes on Mics, with guests including Paula Poundstone and Fortune Feimster.
