Brooke is a stand up comic, singer, and actor who has lived in Columbus for over four years. Originally from Buffalo, her hobbies include eating chicken wings, talking about reading the New Yorker without actually reading it, and living in mid-sized cities with an obesity epidemic.
Brooke started stand up comedy before she moved to Ohio, but it wasn’t until moving to Columbus that she started to actually be funny. Besides hosting charity events for incredible organizations including HRC, Ohio Art League, Mid-Ohio Food Bank, and more, she has opened for national touring comics from around the country, including Kate Clinton, Suzanne Westenhoefer, Dana Goldberg, Chelsea Lately’s Fortune Feimster, Poppy Champlin and Erin Foley.

In 2013, Brooke’s performance at the Columbus Pride Festival was listed as one of the top five things not to miss by Experience Columbus.
In June of 2013, Brooke hosted the premiere of the Columbus Police Department’s anti-bullying video based on the It Gets Better project, entitled It Takes Courage, Columbus. The video highlight the challenges faced by the LGBT members of our police force and gives hope to those being bullied by showing us all that it gets better. This video was truly an honor to be a part of and you can check out the video here.

Brooke is currently in her third year of law school at the Moritz College of Law at the Ohio State University.
